In Angola, the healthcare sector is undergoing a significant transition. However, many provincial hospitals still rely on basic hospital furniture that lacks modern ergonomic features, often leading to higher patient discomfort and increased physical strain on nursing staff.
The humid tropical climate and coastal salinity in cities like Luanda accelerate the corrosion of metal equipment. This creates a critical need for high-grade antimicrobial coatings and rust-resistant materials in every patient bed deployed in these environments.
Furthermore, the uneven distribution of medical resources between urban centers and rural clinics necessitates the use of versatile, space-saving equipment, making the demand for mobile and adaptable solutions a priority for the Angolan Ministry of Health.
